Harpers Ferry, WV
A Modern Bed & Breakfast in Historic Harpers Ferry
Both of us have lived in Harpers Ferry for over fifteen years. Peruvian native Etel Garro is an artist, teacher, and chef who has owned a restaurant in Charles Town, been an elementary school principal in Peru, and directed a film festival in Arlington, Virginia. You can find our more about Etel and read some of her poetry at her website.
A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Rock Wheeler worked many years for National Geographic Live, where he programmed a film series, and produced and promoted a variety of events from beer tastings to concerts of traditional Irish music. Rock is also an amateur historian specializing in the Civil War, has served as music coordinator for a major Celtic festival, and has translated Andean horror films into English. His writings on philosophy of logic can be found at academia.edu
